About Us

What do we offer to our members?
ArtCollectorsClub is a community of art collectors and art lovers who want to gain insight into the work of established and select emerging artists presented by curators they can trust. We offer our members the opportunity to buy great art at reasonable prices during art events. Some of these editions are exclusively available to ArtCollectorsClub members and only during the limited time-period of the event.

We want to help members stay up-to-date with current pulses in the art world, share background stories and the artists’ ideas - information you usually only hear in guided tours at exhibitions or in the backroom of galleries. And if you fall in love with an artwork and the concept behind it, as a member you have the possibility to bring this new love home. Our members can purchase the art directly here. These are not copies, print-on-demand, or large editions. You will be buying unique signed work or a print from a small limited edition, numbered and signed with a certificate. Some of the editions are created exclusively for the ArtCollectorsClub.

Who are we?
Art lovers from internet start-up backgrounds as well as art professionals who have come together to create a club aimed at connecting art collectors and art lovers. Our team is based in Munich, Stocholm and New York, but mainly opperates out of Munich. See more details below

Robert Lang is the internet and startup expert of the team. After completing Business Administration studies in Koblenz, Paris and Stockholm, Robert Lang started out as a strategy consultant with LEK Consulting in London, Paris, Munich and Australia. Since then, Robert has acted as a serial entrepreneur, building up 5 very innovative Internet Startup companies and led them to sustainable businesses.
Some examples: Together with Sebastian Moss, he joined iobox in January 2000. iobox, a Finnish startup, was one of the first companies bringing internet applications to the mobile phone – mostly through SMS Messaging at the time. iobox was acquired by the Spanish Telecommunication Company Telefonica, and iobox became one of the largest mobile entertainment portals in Germany with over 1.8 million subscribers.
Subsequently Robert was one of the founders and CEO of WLAN AG, Germany's largest WiFi operator. WLAN AG brought broadband WiFi connections for guests to surf the internet to hotels and airports and has helped to create a standard we could not imagine to live without today. Swisscom acquired WLAN AG and today operates around the Globe under the name Swisscom Hospitality Services. Robert then became the Head of Europe and Country Manager Germany for FON.com the world's largest Wi-Fi community, which today has almost 2 million Hotspots. Robert then became CEO of Result – a private partnership selecting the best business models and companies and helping them to grow, often on an international level. One of these great companies is Criteo, which is reshaping the market of online advertising on a worldwide basis. Robert is leading German part of Criteo as a Managing Director. In addition to his business life, Robert is an avid sportsman, a guest teacher for Entrepreneurship at the University of Munich and passionate about contemporary arts.
His mission at ArtCollectorsClub is to combine the best and most innovative concepts and technologies that are available and help art collectors to get easier and better access to more great artworks.
